Nick's Notes: Haha, I personally like how I could color the border and background to make them look like the border of a cave. Makes this piece seem more compositional than conceptional. This one seemed to creep (snrk) its way into the final bunch to have one last low-tier monster. While I still think this one is cool enough to be here, the rest are on the more epic levels, I assure you all.
A fungus or creature? Whatever it is, it's a fleshy being that plants itself on the floors, walls, and ceilings of dark, dirty areas - most commonly in caves. Its stretchy fibers are strewn with powerful muscles, allowing it to grab and pick up heavy objects, up to just a little more than the weight of an average human. Each stalk has its own (very small) brain, but it can only process simple functions like grabbing, moving, and sensing objects nearby.
It can be cut fairly easily, but it also has incredible regeneration. It burns when exposed to bright light.
Fun Facts: - Sometimes it appears as a fingerless pink version, which was its original design, but is technically not Creepclutch. Mythology: Terranaut, others?
Surprised you hadn't thought of that, actually. Swimming across the lake, then all of a sudden something pulls you down and you have to hack your way free or drown...
