Bio:

Being exposed to the raw energy leaking out of the planet for the past 300 years has greatly affected the Gwergloth, mutating it into an electric powerhouse. Inside the bubbly spots on its flesh, electrical energy is conducted in large amounts and pumped into the Gwergloth's body. It requires very little food to sustain its energy, and it can go weeks without food, thriving off of the energy being produced in its own body.

Its flesh has also grown approximately 3 times thicker, making it extremely durable against predators, and can easily handle the electricity flowing through its veins. Its thick hide has made it very heavy, and it barely ever moves around. As a defensive tactic, it can expel shockwaves from its feet, electrifying the ground around it to fend off predators or paralyze its prey.

Fun Facts:
- There's a bit of significance of the Neo Gwergloth appearing in Retrospect, and it's not just because it fits like a charm.
- "Gwer" is Reun for "Lightning" or "Electricity"

Interesting! So from what I know of, both the Gwergloth and Neo Gwergloth roam the world of Retrospect at the same time? Much how like multiple evolutions of creatures in real life roam the Earth at a time? (And if you're religious, multiple dog breeds?)

Another interesting thing to note is how such a creature as this could be used as a tool...Are Gwergloths and their Neo counterparts used for any kind of industrial use? And on an unrelated note, seeing this creature reminded me of my city, Hicnovus. It's a modern city based off of places such as Hong Kong and New York, and it's currency is entirely energy-based. I actually think an energy-based economy could be a viable one, if battery capacities could be increased using carbon-based materials such as graphene. On the other hand, the existence of creatures such as this would be an obvious problem...

Ahaha, I miswrote -- only the Neo Gwergloth exists in Retrospect. The evolution effected all of the Gwergloths.
