This was started a while after giving up on Terranaut, and I believe was cancelled a while before starting work on M&MD2.

This was when Knick! was supposed to mirror what Knick's Grand Adventure had in store, but on a smaller scale. This level was designed specifically as a tech demo level, showcasing all the features. The only thing that was missing from this demo before I would have released it on-schedule was the boss, but that's when the game failed.

Other notes:
- Pressing the T key will make Knick taunt.
- In hindsight, the pause and crouch buttons were terrible choices.
- The demo ends when you reach the SECOND sign that has no speech bubble. It was supposed to say "Well, shucks. That's all folks!", like the end of the Terranaut demo (both signs were put in last second). Alas, something was preventing it from appearing, and I didn't want to spend all day fixing it.
- I also fixed some areas before publishing it, as the game was far too difficult in some areas.
- I'll have to keep the Metalhead and Helmet Bugs in mind for future Knick games.

I got all the way to the pea shooter....and then I couldn't see myself anymore. bummer. But it was fun though.

Finally beat it. The log platforming kicked my butt at the end a few times, heh. Also I managed to convince myself the white crates for practicing throwing were important so I was working out a way to actually move them through the platforming successfully. You have to throw them up, then charge a jump and grab them in midair and land the jump. In hindsight, that was probably far too complex to have actually factored in to the level design. The armored enemies were kinda cool, though those jerk beetles can trap you between them for a bounce of pain.

Yeah, the charge jump doesn't like the dash jump. I noticed quite a few signs were blank, too. Couple clipping issues where I'd get stuck in walls and such, but it's pretty fun. I got to the weapon testing rooms before clipping into a wall in the pea shooter course. I'll come back later, gotta finish studying now.

Make sure not to hold the jump button down too long, or it cancels the dash jump.

i tried like 30 different ways and he doesnt jump, in a real game i would have lost all my lives allready...
