HB: Weapons Catalogue by The-Knick HB: Weapons Catalogue by The-Knick
The new list of weapons, which I ended up overhauling since the last list. I'm quite happy with this one, since it's much more balanced. I also got a lot of practice in drawing weapons, guns, and shading metal.

Download for full view!

Extra notes:
:bulletblue: Orange signifies Melee + Ranged
:bulletblue: Purple signifies Magic + Melee
:bulletblue: Cyan signifies Ranged + Magic

:bulletgreen: stat/stat = Weapon is capable of doing either or - sometimes depending on exact weapon or ammunition.
:bulletgreen: (/stat) = Stat is not always applied to the weapon of this type. May rely on weapon subtype (Subtypes listed under each description).

:bulletred: Syphon = Allows user to draw extra mana from the weapon.
:bulletred: Spells = The weapon will contain it's own spells, which the user can use. This effect is also usually found on artifacts.
:bulletred: Bullet = The bullets that firearms use are (usually 1 inch in diameter) pellets; giving them a similar effect to Blunt damage. Higher and faster ranged damage, but does not pierce as well as Stab damage.

:bulletblack: Boomerangs are larger and two-handed Chakrams. They are still bladed.
:bulletblack: Any Runestone can be turned into a Trapstone by setting it to go off on contact; though this requires expertise on Runestones.

The interactive Class list I'm working on will show what weapons each class favors.

Signature weapons by I, Nick Roger/~The-Knick. Do not copy or distribute.

The Umbrellance - The classiest way ever innovated to deal with an arrow storm, especially when accompanied with a singing in the rain reference. It can also be combined with gravity magic for an excellent Mary Poppins spoof, I love it!

I got 2 questions. One, how does an arcon work, and where did you get the name from? Two, how do runestones work exactly?

You just hold Arcons and siphon their source of mana and/or imbedded spells. As for the name, I can't remember exactly what I based it off of. I think I just liked how it sounds, and it sounds similar to "Arcane".

Runestones can be imbedded with spells, allowing anyone to use that spell once.

You hold the acorn at those two handle-things, right? It kind of reminds me of some sort of shield type thing, so I assume you hold it in front of you.

Oh, OK. That makes sense. So when its "used up" does it disappear or what?

Yeap.

And yeah, it disappears.

:)

Oh. For some reason, I was thinking it would "fade color" or something and just kinda become "empty" then be reused for something else.

Do you mind if I draw some of these weapons, I promise to cite your name.

I seriously love these weapon concepts, they're more imaginative and that some of the other weapons I've come across.
