WHAT'S ON THIS PAGE:
Know Your Weck.
The Weck has been a creature in my arsenal for a while, which started with "Knick's Adventure". (You may know the first weck of mine, Icabelle, the Ice Queen: [link] [link] )
But I've now just started fleshing the species out.
Wecks are a type of being called Geists (still working on a name...) - which are beings whom are in between Sentients/Spirits (humans and humanoids) and monsters. Despite their intelligence and 'sentience' - they act and live like monsters - and are treated as such. But rarely, you may run into a Geist whom is actually decently behaved - those kinds are treated as Sentients, and are welcomed into society by law - but there's still a lot of prejudice against them...
(other geists include Goblins, Trolls, Ogres, Demons, and other intelligent human-like monsters)
ANYWAYS. WECK STUFF:
-Wecks are witch-like Geists who possess mass amounts of magic.
-Wecks are generally known for their appetite of cute sentient girls (particularly children). Wecks actually EAT cute girls to drain their youth and cuteness so the Weck can remain cute and live longer. Wecks actually have a choice in this - as some Wecks are just naturally cute, and choose not to eat sentients. But when a Weck first eats a sentient, they must continue on an increased basis - as they'll quickly become ugly and old without their dose of cuteness.
-A Weck's body and clothes are as magical as their spells.
-A Weck is bound to her clothes, as the clothes will grow with the Weck.
-When a Weck dies, her body will turn to pure magic - and the clothes will remain. The clothes will still contain vast amounts of magic - and female huntresses will wear or show off the clothes to brag about their Weck-killing skills.
*Wecks appear in most of my projects;
"Knick's Adventure", "Guardian Sagas", and "Dungeon Tale" as common enemies; and sometimes bosses.
*Wecks will also make an appearance - with a chapter or few dedicated to them - in "Heartblade".
*We might meet a good Weck once or twice, maybe even as prominent/main characters.
*If it wasn't obvious; Dinx is often a target of cute-eating Wecks.
*Yes, if I ever made an MMORPG, Wecks would definitely be a playable species - and maybe Minor Wecks as a pet/companion. :3
